Happy Birthday Aquarius!!! Your tarot correspondent is The Star. Aquarius is depicted as a Water bearer dispensing a gift of life equally to all. The association with water is why people frequently mistake Aquarians for a water sign, even though they are ruled by air. The Star depicts a nude woman pouring water onto the earth, nurturing it and back from where it came and replenishing the source. The nude represents the soul cleansed of its path and ready to move into the future.
Aquarius is seen as the sign of the future. They are scientific thinking and always trying to create ideal situations. Their scientific and forward looking nature is what associates Aquarius with astrology itself. The Star card has eight stars glowing in the night sky. Some believe this is representing the eight Morningstar planets. However, it seems more likely that you are looking at the ancient Greek cosmos. Venus, Mars, Sun, Mercury, Moon, Jupiter and Saturn were considered planets that moved independently from the fixed constellations. The ancient Greeks saw these planets as emanations of gods that formed a ladder that connected the celestial world with the mundane world.
